The main objective of this advanced training is to provide theoretical knowledge and calculation possibilities of the loaded tooth contact analysis (LTCA) for cylindrical gears, allowing thus an exact representation of the conditions in the tooth contact which permits the design and optimization with regards to noise, transmission error, traverse contact ratio, forces and stresses.
The training targets engineers who are already familiar with cylindrical gears and KISSsoft® usages, and/or have already attended the basic training on Geometry and Strength for cylindrical gears.
Date and Time
The training takes place in 2 consecutive Live Stream sessions.
For participants in Europe:
April 24, 2024: CEST 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)
April 25, 2024: CEST 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)
For participants in parts of the Americas:
April 24, 2024: EDT 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (New York)
April 25, 2024: EDT 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (New York)
Topics
Participants learn about the theory and calculation possibilities of the LTCA with focus on cylindrical gear pairs. This includes data inputs, settings, calculation possibilities and how to get and interpret the results in order to operate and apply the software correctly and efficiently in the design process.
Notebook
You will need a notebook to actively participate in the training. It is advantageous to have 2 screens, but this is not a prerequisite.
Registration deadline: April 19, 2024
The registration for this training is done via the website. Please select the training by placing it into the Cart. From there fill out all required information and submit your registration.
Before the start of the training, participants will receive an actual test version Release 2024, training documentation and an invitation link to join the Live Stream training.
Completion
Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate is issued.
