KISSsoft Fundamentals, Basic Cylindrical Gear Optimization and Basic Shaft & Bearings
The emphasis of the 3-day comprehensive KISSsoft training is an introduction to using KISSsoft and understanding different buttons and setting, to learn about basic cylindrical gear design and optimization techniques as well as the use of shafts and bearings in KISSsoft.
The training is intended for new KISSsoft users or users that have very few experience with KISSsoft and would like to refresh their knowledge.
Topics
Day 1 introduces the usage of KISSsoft and the understanding of the different buttons, settings and shortcuts to become an efficient KISSsoft user.
During Day 2 participants will learn some basic gear theory initially and then the proper techniques in KISSsoft to size and optimize both macro and micro geometries of cylindrical gears.
Day 3 introduces the theory of shafts and bearings as well as the proper techniques to size, optimize shafts and bearings, and ultimately the gears affected by the deflections.
