KISSsoft AG has partnered for many years with Timken to have their bearing calculation data in the KISSsoft® database, enhancing the accuracy of shaft system calculations. KISSsoft users connected to Timken cloud services can perform bearing calculations using internal macro geometry for over 7,000 Timken bearings. While the internal macro geometry data remains hidden within KISSsoft, it is available for precise ISO/TS 16281 bearing stiffness, stress, and life calculations. The internal geometry data is considered via Timken’s cloud services, enabling engineers to analyze bearing performance in specific applications with great confidence.
